The Institute of Aquatic Ecology invites you to: IEA Seminar #4 Stream biofilms under the effects of global warming, water scarcity and chemical pollution by Dr. Anna Freixa (Fluvial systems area, ICRA)
Mr. Carlos Cano-Barbacil, an environmental and energy engineer who will introduce the problem of invaders to the aquatic environment. Next, Mrs. Irene Gil, a graduate in Marine Sciences, will explain the problem of invasive species in the Aiguamolls de l'Empordà (Girona). Finally, Mr. Andrés Fernández-Vilar, degree in Biology with a specialization in Ecology, will share some insights of the theme of his doctoral thesis, the conservation of the fartet and his interaction with the gambusia.
